Vegan Pork Belly Using Starch Water

- Vegan Meat
Starch Water: 1 1/2 Cups
Soy Sauce: 1 tbsp
Liquid Smoke: 1/2 tsp
Maple Syrup: 1 tbsp
Smoked Paprika: 1 tsp
Nutritional Yeast: 1 tbsp
Garlic Powder: 1 tsp
Pepper: 1 tsp
- Vegan Fat
Starch Water: 1 1/2 Cups
Garlic Powder: 1/2 tsp
Salt: 1/2 tsp
Coconut Oil: 1 tbsp
Directions
- Combine all "meat" ingredients and blend well.
- Combine all "fat" ingredients and blend well.
- Pour a thin layer of "meat" liquid and bake for about 10 minutes at 300 degrees.
- Pour a thin layer of "fat" liquid over the "meat" liquid and bake for about 10 minutes at 300 degrees.
- Continue this routine until there is no more liquid.
- Remove the bacon mixture from the pan and cool for about 2 hours.
- Slice the cooled mixture into desired size.
- Sautee the pork belly until each side is golden.
- Plate up and enjoy!
