Ingredients


  • Walnuts: 1 cup


  • Mushrooms, sliced: 8 Oz


  • Soy Sauce: 2 Tbs


  • Cumin: 1/2 tsp


  • Onion, sliced: 1


  • Garlic, minced: 2 cloves


  • Salt: 1 tsp


  • Pepper: 1/2 tsp


  • Tomato Paste: 1 Tbs


  • Black Beans: 1 cup


  • Beets: 3 Tbs


  • Brown Rice: 1 Cup


  • Vegenaise: 1 Tbs


  • Worcestershire Sauce: 1 tsp


  • Liquid Smoke: 1 tsp


  • Vital Wheat Gluten: 1/2 cup

Directions

  • Combine the first 4 ingredients and saute well.
  • Prepare the onion and garlic.
  • Saute the onion and garlic well. Then add salt, pepper and tomato paste.
  • Blend all items from steps 1-3 with the black beans.
  • Mix together all items from beets to liquid smoke.
  • Fold all ingredients together, including the vital wheat gluten.
  • Shape the patties and cook for about 5 minutes per side.
