Tasty By Rachel's Vegan Burger with A Twist

Walnuts: 1 cup
Mushrooms, sliced: 8 Oz
Soy Sauce: 2 Tbs
Cumin: 1/2 tsp
Onion, sliced: 1
Garlic, minced: 2 cloves
Salt: 1 tsp
Pepper: 1/2 tsp
Tomato Paste: 1 Tbs
Black Beans: 1 cup
Beets: 3 Tbs
Brown Rice: 1 Cup
Vegenaise: 1 Tbs
Worcestershire Sauce: 1 tsp
Liquid Smoke: 1 tsp
Vital Wheat Gluten: 1/2 cup
Directions
- Combine the first 4 ingredients and saute well.
- Prepare the onion and garlic.
- Saute the onion and garlic well. Then add salt, pepper and tomato paste.
- Blend all items from steps 1-3 with the black beans.
- Mix together all items from beets to liquid smoke.
- Fold all ingredients together, including the vital wheat gluten.
- Shape the patties and cook for about 5 minutes per side.
